The Drysow Hut represents a completely new approach to housing sows and boars, moving away from traditional high-maintenance, short-lifespan materials such as sheet steel and timber.
Built using the same proven construction as our popular Aardvark and Armadillo farrowing arks, the Drysow Hut features a one-piece, twin-walled polyethylene shell with a wide internal air cavity. This design delivers outstanding temperature stability in both extreme summer heat and winter cold.
Minimal condensation helps reduce straw usage while creating a drier, healthier environment for livestock. The smooth, framework-free interior lifts cleanly away from bedding, with no ledges or dirt traps to hold old material, making cleaning faster and more effective.
- Reduced internal temperature variation year-round
- Lower condensation levels, significantly reducing straw requirements
- Far longer service life compared to metal huts
- Smooth moulded interior minimises injury risk
- Excellent stability in high-wind conditions
- Stackable for efficient storage and transport
- Delivered ready to use, with up to 12 huts per lorry load
