Creep Feeders | Con-Tented Products Skip to main content Skip to footer

Creep feeding outdoor bred piglets pre weaning has become common practice in recent years. It is not however without its challenges, even with many farms weaning piglets at 5 weeks of age. Feeding creep on the floor of an ark is wasteful and often leads to the sow returning early from her feeder to steal creep.

As these well-developed active piglets are often out and about in the paddocks from week four one answer is to set up creep feed stations that groups of litters can access close to their home paddock. With this approach it become an easy and obvious thing to do to add a supply of drinking water to the station.

Our creep feed station has been designed and developed to fill this requirement, it is both easy for the piglets to us and the stock persons to manage. One creep feed station can typically be sited to provide adlib creep feed and water to around ten surrounding litters.
